It was back in the year of 1963 when a Professor from the well known Harvard Medical School name David Littman had made-up a stethoscope with new revolution. And nowadays, any stethoscope produced by the Littmann Company is recognized for its excellent and quality. This technology is one of the highly significant breakthroughs in the art of auscultation with the fact that, the volume of the low frequency sounds will be amplified by a diaphragm rather than a bell and the amplification itself is more visible to the ear and clearer. However it is sad to say that the Littmann Lightweight II SE Stethoscope is not equipped by this advancement.
However, based on the experience that Littmann’s Company have in developing stethoscope, Littmann Lightweight II SE Stethoscope is still a stethoscope that is standing on his own standard and legacy of the stethoscope in its category.
